DIAF-ESG GRANT MALAYSIA-UPTO RM500,000 FUNDING-GET PROPOSAL
The world of business is changing fast. Around the world investors, buyers, and regulators are demanding that companies big and small show responsible Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. This transformation can be intimidating for Malaysia’s Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Adopting ESG frameworks can be costly and demand expertise in documentation and dealings with government bodies which can appear complex and bureaucratic.
This is precisely why the Malaysian government has introduced the Domestic Investment Accelerator Fund – ESG Adoption (DIAF-ESG) through the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA). It’s a financial lifeline to help Malaysian SMEs and Mid-Tier Companies (MTCs) transition into an ESG-compliant business — and provides up to RM500,000 per company in reimbursable funding.
But getting the DIAF-ESG grant isn’t as easy as filling out an online form. It is a multi-stage, structured process involving document preparation, proposal writing, portal submission, departmental reviews, and follow-ups through multiple layers of government approval. This is where SMI Funding, a dedicated financial consultancy firm, comes in to make the whole journey smooth, strategic and successful.
